Presenter Bio:

Scott Snyder, a graduate of Bowling Green State University (Ohio) with a B.S. in Education, has been teaching for 15 years. A member of the English Department at Cedar Cliff High School (West Shore School District), Camp Hill, PA, USA, Scott teaches Theater, American Literature, and AP Language and Composition.

In the spring of 2007, he was nominated to the Keystones: Technology Integrators, a program recognizing teachers who make an effort to bring technology into the classroom in educationally meaningful, relevant, and engaging ways. Following submission of a portfolio, Scott was selected as one of one hundred teachers from the across the state to attend the Keystone Summit on the campus of Shippensburg University. The Summit, an intense, week long workshop, provides attendees with the opportunity to collaborate with others across the state as well as participate in workshops focusing on teaching in the 21st Century.

When his district undertook a major technology initiative during the 2006-07 school year, Scott was integral in the roll out of the technology as well as training in its effective classroom uses.

He is a member of PAECT and serves on its governing board as its Parliamentarian. The K-12 Online Conference marks Scott’s first solo presentation on education in the 21st Century.
