personalheader.jpg Gardner Campbell is currently Director of the Academy for Teaching and Learning at Baylor University, where he also serves as an Associate Professor of Literature and Media in the Honors College. Gardner has worked in higher education for eighteen years as an English professor teaching literature of the British Renaissance, film, new media, and writing. He has had administrative roles in teaching and learning, especially teaching and learning technologies, at the University of Mary Washington (Fredericksburg, Virginia), the University of Richmond, and now at Baylor. He currently serves on the Advisory Board of the EDUCAUSE Learning Initiative. Gardner has published articles on subjects ranging from Milton to Orson Welles to podcasting, and speaks frequently at teaching-and-learning conferences across the US (and as of last spring, in Canada as well).
