Beth is a school based occupational therapist currently working at Hosmer School in Watertown, MA. Since graduating from Tufts University, she has worked in the field of pediatrics for 30 years. She started her journey at Gaebler Children's Center, a child psychiatric hospital for children and adolescents. Since then, she has worked in early intervention and public school settings. As an occupational therapist, she brings a special perspective to the lives of students. The goal of occupational therapy is to help individuals "live life to its fullest". She strives to help her students increase their participation in all school activities, whether it is on the playground, during writing tasks or when organizing their materials. Beth feels strongly that students need to have the right tools to be independent. Technology is one effective way to put learning tools into students' hands to help them succeed.

Beth lives in Newton, MA with her husband and daughter, Hannah. Her two older children are on their own...well, almost. Clay has finished two years of service with City Year and Maggi is studying at Bryn Mawr College. Summers are spent in Newport, RI where she enjoys kayaking, running, biking and an occasional triathlon.
