HPIM0654_2.jpgDonna DesRoches is the Learning Resources Consultant for the Living Sky School Division in Saskatchewan. She obtained her Masters of Education in Curriculum Studies in 2008 through the department of Educational Communications and Technology A former teacher librarian, Donna is a passionate learner. She applies her knowledge of ways to find, share, and use information when working with teachers in exciting and innovative resource-based technology projects.

Donna, along with Carlene Walter, (collectively known as the Disruptive Innovators), were the 2008 recipients of the Canadian Library Association; Angela Thacker Memorial Award for their contributions to the field of teacher-librarianship. Together, they continue to provide support to teacher-librarians as Executive Members of the Saskatachewan School Library Assocation.

Donna and Carlene are the facilitators of Meet The Stars, a professional development opportunity for teacher-librarians set against the vicarious star-studded glamour of the Hollywood era.They look forward to unveiling their latest learning opportunity entitled Beyond The Stacks: Renewing Your Love Affair With The Library.
